Reimagining Climate Initiative

Launched in direct response to the urgent global call for gender-inclusive climate action, the Reimagining Climate Initiative, spearheaded by Reimagining Society in 2023, stands at the forefront of policy advocacy and action. The initiative is a direct outcome of the imperative set forth by the G20 India summit, emphasizing the crucial intersectionality between climate change and gender disparities.

Recognizing the profound impact of climate change on women, exacerbated by societal norms, caregiving responsibilities, and economic vulnerabilities, our initiative is committed to advancing policies that address these disparities. Through strategic partnerships with over 50 Global Wellbeing Envoys of Reimagining Society representing diverse nations, we advocate tirelessly for the integration of gender equality and human rights principles within national and regional climate policies.

Central to our mission is the empowerment of women in decision-making processes related to climate action. We work tirelessly to ensure their meaningful participation at every level of policy formulation and implementation. Our approach encompasses rigorous advocacy efforts, evidence-based research initiatives, and comprehensive training programs aimed at raising awareness about the gender dimensions of climate change.

Our reach extends beyond borders, as we collaborate closely with policy advocacy groups and government entities in India, Bhutan, Nepal, the Philippines, Australia, and beyond. Reimagining Education Initiative

In today's world, standing against injustice and violence requires a deep understanding of oneself and the surrounding environment. Central to this understanding is education, especially for those who have been marginalized socially, economically, or geographically.

​

Sadly, there exists a significant deficit of individuals within the education system who are dedicated to enhancing its capacity and quality at all levels. Furthermore, the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated disparities in education, highlighting the urgent need to provide children access to basic literacy, especially during lockdowns.

​

The Reimagining Education Initiative seeks to address these challenges by ensuring that quality education reaches the most marginalized communities. Recognizing that teachers alone cannot fulfill this mandate given the existing resource constraints, our program aims to mobilize a diverse coalition of stakeholders. This coalition will include civil society groups, international organizations, schools, college societies, and others committed to the shared goal of improving educational access and quality for all.

Amidst the complexities of modern healthcare systems, standing up for equitable access to healthcare and tackling health disparities demands a comprehensive understanding of policy frameworks and systemic challenges. The Reimagining Health Initiative is committed to reshaping health policy to ensure that every individual, regardless of socio-economic status or geographic location, has access to quality healthcare.

 

Recognizing the pressing need for policy reform to address health inequalities, our initiative brings together a diverse array of stakeholders, including policymakers, healthcare professionals, advocacy groups, and community leaders. By fostering collaboration and dialogue, we aim to develop innovative policy solutions that prioritize health equity and inclusivity.

In many regions, access to healthcare remains a privilege rather than a fundamental right.
